Jordan has it's own expression, and of course very different from Natasha despite the same clones of Pinot. Cherry tobacco fills the nose with a subtle take of vanilla. As you take a sip sauteed mushroom, and graphite hit your middle palette with pine. Jordan finishes with a long dry finish.
Natasha was quite the surprise this year. Purple and blue fruits fill the nose, and transfer to a savory bramble fruit and spiced raspberry, plum, a hint of blueberry. Natasha finishes dry with refined tannin.
Swirl your glass for the dark pepper, forest floor, and mushroom aromatics. Plump blackberry, blueberry, and plum characteristics dance onto your palate, followed by cocoa in the mid-palate, and long finish of cherry cola. Typical of the J-Block, the 2016 has more tannin structure with depth and complexity. An absolute delight to be enjoyed today or cellared for many years to come.
White pepper, bright candied cherry and allspice lift the nose. The flavors explode with sweet black cherry, honey, rhubarb, mineral and sweet barrel notes. Finishing on a sweet tobacco note with layers of flowers like honey suckle.
This wine will great you with the aroma of crisp green apple, and a swirl of tart lemon zest to offset its floral hints. As if that weren’t enough, the taste of this Pinot Gris’ refreshing acidity is soothed by the softness of pear and green tea, finishing with a short splash of juicy grapefruit.
