The 2019 Chardonnay is a mesmerizing champagne gold color, concealing an herbal nose, hazelnut, Silken apple, and the scent of ocean spray. And where the aroma is earthy, it is animated by the smooth taste of honeydew, lemon rind, and oak. Adorned with a delicate minerality, this Chardonnay is beautifully balanced and perfect for those with sharp taste buds.
The 2018 Cuvée can be described as none-other than a treat for the senses. With a fragrant nose of cocoa, wild berry, and freshly ground cinnamon, the Cuvée’s sent will transport you even before you take your first sip. When you finally do taste the wine, you’ll find a pleasant blend of fresh fruit and subtle warm spices, smoothing out into a refreshing herbal finish. A well-rounded and hearty drink that can’t help but make you smile.
The 2018 Natasha is a complex surprise, enhanced by an earthy nose of tobacco, clove, and white pepper to balance out a spirited acidic palate of cranberry, raspberry, muted mushroom, and minerality. The artful balance between smell and taste, makes this wine perfect for adventurous tasters and indicates that over the next few years we will see this vintage grow and evolve in stunning, unexpected ways.
If you’re looking for an approachable and fruit prominent wine, the 2018 Jordan is the bottle for you. Its hints of black cherry, cola, and vanilla make the nose on this wine inviting, and, in exploring its flavor, you’ll be pleasantly gratified with whispers of lush red-berries, allspice, and a unique stone finish. Balanced and refreshing, this wine is perfect for all seasons.
The Bailey Chardonnay first reveals a rich golden hue, promising to light up your glass with color and your senses with flavor. Before the first sip envelops the mouth, the nose tantalizes with gentle touches of wet stone, citrus, and vanilla. Then pear, Meyer lemon, white peach and tangerine swirl around the flinty tones of cool stone which glide seamlessly over the palette. The lingering finish balances creaminess with crispness, freshness with fullness, and length with layers.
Jordan has it's own expression, and of course very different from Natasha despite the same clones of Pinot. Cherry tobacco fills the nose with a subtle take of vanilla. As you take a sip sauteed mushroom, and graphite hit your middle palette with pine. Jordan finishes with a long dry finish.
Natasha was quite the surprise this year. Purple and blue fruits fill the nose, and transfer to a savory bramble fruit and spiced raspberry, plum, a hint of blueberry. Natasha finishes dry with refined tannin.
